Company Overview
DTH Consulting is Alberta Canada based company, serving western Canada. Started in 1994 in Calgary Alberta, we served clients in the heart of the largest oil and gas producing region of Western Canada. Calgary is affectionately known as Cowtown to most Canadians. It is home to the World Famous
Calgary Stampede and Exhibition. -"the greatest outdoor show on earth " .

We're a small consulting firm that specializes in small to medium size companies who need technology to compete in today's marketplace, but may not have the resources or expertise to have a full time MIS department. `

Our clients range from single employee - home based businesses to larger industrial, commercial and retail clients with hundreds of employees.

Mission Statement
The prime mission of DTH Consulting is to provide our clients with responsive service, state of the art equipment and expert advice to enable them to operate their businesses efficiently and profitably without having to worry about the technology behind it.

Company Background
DTH Consulting was incorporated under the legal name "Don Thomson Holdings Inc." as a private Alberta Corporation in April of 1994. Over the past 19 years we have grown from one person to a staff of 4.

In November 2007, we changed the way we do business. We found that we were spending far too much time getting around southern Alberta and not enough time actually performing the services for our clients. With the cost of gas and maintenance going through the roof, we felt we needed to rethink our priorities. DTH Consulting is and always has been a family business. When Ryan and Heather along with Kyle decided to relocate to the east coast, due to the rising cost of living in Calgary, We decided that with the number of clients we serviced,  that we could no longer efficiently handle all their needs in the same fashion as we had for the past 13 years. As a result - we decided that we would move the entire business to Nova Scotia and handle what ever we could remotely - and subcontract the hardware repair aspect to another firm. We though we would only keep about 10-20% of our clientele  - and started to do most of our work remotely - over the Internet. To our amazement - not only did we only lose 2 clients - we have added at least 25 more client from western Canada since that time.  We have found that doing what we do remotely, we don't have to schedule client for 1-2 days down the road - in 90% of the calls we get  - we can do it right when they call. Our clients seem to like this - although most tell us they do miss our smiling faces.  Many of our client love the fact that they can call us first thing in the morning and get an answer - we wake up about 3 hours earlier than Calgary.  We have managed to supply many of our clients with new hardware, and software - using the remote control software to set the system up and get them up and running quickly and efficiently.
